KINSHIP CODE OF CONDUCT - PLEASE READ
These are provisional at this time and we may edit them as needed, but our kinship recently passed 60 characters in membership and a few issues have come up, as well as in anticipation of the kinhouse.
DWARROWDAM CODE OF CONDUCT V.1 MARCH 2015
GENERAL
1. TURBINE CODE OF CONDUCT.
You must follow Turbine's Code of Conduct, found here: https://www.lotro.com/en/content/lord-rings-online-code-conduct
Players engaging in spamming, griefing of other players, or harassment of any kind in particular may be demoted or removed from the kinship with or without warning.
2. ABUSE OF HELP OFFERED BY OTHER KINSHIP MEMBERS
It is okay to request help with a difficult quest or with multi-player quests and instances. However, constant begging can bother other players, who may feel obligated. We are a kinship of friends and we naturally want to help others out, but it isn't anyone's best interest to support frequent power-leveling and free-loading, including constantly asking other players to fellowship on solo quests at or above one's level just to gain experience points from their work.Members have the right to refuse requests they feel are burdensome or which make them uncomfortable
3. KINSHIP EVENTS
Participation in Kinship events is NOT mandatory; these events are meant to provide an opportunity for socializing and/or group play. Most will be announced by the Message of the Day that displays upon log-in. Special events may be announced through Kinship mail.
Anyone may suggest or arrange an activity, simply contact an officer to let them know what you plan to do so that they can get the word out to the kin through the Kinship Message of the Day and/or Kinship mail.
KIN HOUSE USAGE
1. TIME LIMIT FOR DISPLAY OF PERSONAL DECORATIONS
Decorations placed in the kin house by other members should be left alone by other members for TWO WEEKS. After this time the owner of the item is responsible for removing it, otherwise it may be placed by another member into the kin house storage chest or, for bound objects, sent back to the owner with the “return to owner” button on the decoration slot.
2. KINSHIP/INDIVIDUAL PROPERTY
Decorations that are removed should be put in the chest or returned to the original owner. DO NOT REMOVE ANOTHER PERSON'S DECORATION OR KIN HOUSE COMMUNAL PROPERTY FROM THE KIN HOUSE.
Cosmetic clothing in the kin storage chest should be slotted to an outfit and returned immediately. If you want to put an item in your wardrobe, you may go to the vault-keeper within the homestead neighborhood, place it, and return it immediately after. The item should NOT leave the neighborhood for any reason.
3. CONSUMABLES
Members may donate consumables and bind-on-equip gear items to the kin chest. These may be taken by other members and not returned. This is the only exception to Rule #2. Items left for a lengthy period and not used may be removed by an officer, so if nobody takes an item within a few weeks, the individual who placed it may wish to retrieve it to sell or use.
4. BOUND AND ACCOUNT-BOUND ITEMS
These items should not be stored in the kin house storage chest as they take up valuable room and cannot be used by the kinship as a whole. These belong in your personal or shared storage.
